The Challenge
Aortic diseases are among the deadliest conditions in cardiovascular medicine, contributing to approximately 200,000 deaths worldwide each year. Despite advances in imaging and clinical care, surgeons lack robust tools to integrate the full spectrum of patient data—imaging, clinical parameters, and patient history—into individualized risk predictions.
The Solution
We build predictive software designed to help cardiovascular surgeons make better treatment decisions for patients with complex vascular diseases. By analyzing medical images, patient histories, and clinical notes, our AI aims to accurately forecast patient-specific risks, such as aortic rupture or aneurysm formation. These predictions empower surgeons to confidently decide whether a patient needs immediate surgery or can safely avoid invasive intervention. Our transparent, easy-to-understand approach is intended to reduce uncertainty, improve patient outcomes, and standardize care across hospitals.
